Sweet Words

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Be joyful always;
pray continually;
give thanks in all circumstances,
for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

I read these words today in my devotional and felt so convicted.

My heart and my thoughts have not reflected these words today.

I have found too many things to complain about than to be thankful for.

And I know full well I have NOTHING to complain about.

I have challenged myself for the rest of the week to live this verse.

Is there something wrong?

Be JOYful. THANK God for it. Yes. Thank Him. And then PRAY about it.

It's ok for me to feel hurt by someone's words or disappointed by something that happens.

Life is going to be full of frustrations and setbacks.

But it's my reactions to these things that are reflective of my faith.

May my heart reflect more and more the holiness and grace of the Father.

With JOY, THANKSGIVING, and PRAYER.

Thankful Thursday

You know when you don't feel like doing Thankful Thursday that you need to do it. So... after procrastinating the past hour I felt like the Lord really wanted me to do this. He obviously has something to teach me through this post! :)

"Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done."
1 Chronicles 16:8

"Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever."
Psalm 106:1

"This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
Psalm 118:24

Our God is faithful, good, sovereign, full of grace, mercy, love, and tenderness. He has blessed us beyond measure in so many ways.

I am thankful for LIFE today. I am thankful for the chance to live and breathe and love.

I am thankful for HOPE today.

I am thankful for GRACE today. It has been poured out so many times on me by the Savior- and I don't deserve any of it. It is by GRACE I have been saved. Nothing I have done has gotten me to where I am at today.

Thankful Thursday

Well I can't believe it's already time for another Thankful Thursday post. Wow. It is a lovely day out here and I am just in a really happy mood. So today I am thankful for:

1. The smell of chocolate chip cookies baking in the oven. (and the cookie dough and chocolate chips that I have been eating from the bowl all morning lol).

2. Our Sr. High retreat tommorow-Sat. We have a great speaker lined up and I'm excited for it!

3. The Semlows invited me to go with them to the Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith concert Saturday night! :) I'm excited for that too! SCC has such a HUGE heart for adoption and I do love his music.

4. It is truly the last leg of the school year. I am SO thankful! I have a huge presentation for my spanish class, then finals in 3 weeks. Meanwhile, I'll finish up my homeschool stuff and should be done by mid-May!! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. SUMMER is fast-approaching!!

5. A relaxed day with no activities, no big assignments due!!

Well.... that's all for now! :)

Hope y'all have a GREAT Thursday and a great weekend!! I probably won't blog again until Monday. But hopefully I'll have lots of pics! :)

Thankful Thursday

"Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our "God is a consuming fire."

Hebrews 12:28

Oh SO many things to be thankful for today... this is going to be a really random post- lots of serious thoughts but also some silly ones.

1. Our opening scripture at church on Sunday was 2 Timothy 2:13, "If we are faithless, He will remain faithful, for He cannot disown himself." For whatever reason, this verse has been running through my head all week. It brings several thoughts. First, I feel convicted. I am convicted of being faithless. I do not show complete devotion to our Father, and I do not show faith like a child. Over and over again, I choose something else over Him, or my heart harbors unbelief that He can perform miracles or change a situation. Secondly, I am filled with AWE!! The whole concept of God's faithfulness to us just blows me away. It is amazing. In this verse, it says that He must remain faithful or He will disown Himself. The essence of our sweet loving Jesus is faithfulness. He will remain forever and ever, a strong foundation that we can stand upon without ever doubting if it will hold. Praise Jesus! Thank you that you are faithful!!

2. My mom and I went on college visits last week (that's a whole other post in itself lol) but on the way there and back, we listened to some exceptional sermons on dating and marriage. The pastor was talking about just how incredible the love is that our Father shows for us and how He pursues us again and again and again. Over and over. Day after day. Year after year. We turn away from Him, become "adulterers" by choosing other things before our sacred relationship with Christ. Yet, He comes back to me and says, "Daughter, I love you. Despite your imperfections. Despite your stubborness. Despite your sin. I love you and forgive you. Come back to me." That is so beautiful!! I am so thankful that my sweet Jesus pursues me.

3. While I'm on the topic of college..... I could write a book. But suffice it to say that I am incredibly thankful for all the wonderful options that I have. And most of all, I am clinging to God's promise that He has a plan. I'm prone to fear and anxiety, worrying that I will choose the wrong place. I mean, this is a HUGE decision. But I have no reason to worry!! The Lord knows each step I will take and where I will be fall of '10!! I am so thankful that I can rest in His plan.

4. Now this one will show how nerdy I am!! But I am truly thankful for all of the other blogs that are out there. I know it sounds weird but I'm not embarassed to admit it. I love reading other people's blogs and following their journey. God has used other people's stories to help grow me. I have been inspired and touched by their lives. I have formed a better vision of the kind of woman that I want to be, the kind of teacher, daughter, wife, and mother that I hope to be in the future. And- I wish I could meet you all!!!! :) Maybe someday. So thanks for sharing your lives, your stories, your photography. I love it all! :)

5. I am so thankful for the sunshiney day out and the warmer weather!

6. I'm thankful I'm almost halfway through this crazy month of April lol! With the help of the calendar, a school plan, and lots of to-do lists I've done fairly well.... so far! :)

7. I'm thankful for a long weekend to spend with family. My aunt and uncle came in from NY today, and we'll see the other side of the family as well on Easter after church.

I hope you all have a FABULOUS THANKFUL Thursday!! Remember to PRAISE our God for all of the blessings He has lavished upon us.
Love,
Molly

Thankful Thursday

Wow. There is so much to be thankful for.

1. I'm thankful for our God. How great is our God?!! More amazing, loving, faithful, compassionate, and merciful than I can EVER express. I have rested in His timing and His plan this week. Here's a couple verses I have

"There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears."
Philippians 1:6 The Message

"I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. "When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I'll listen. "When you come looking for me, you'll find me. "Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed."
Jeremiah 29:11-13

This scripture nearly brings me to tears. God, who keeps His promises, gives such great hope! Oh yes, Lord, your plan is beautiful. It most certainly will be different than what I want but you know what is best- for me and for your people. And you will be glorified through it all. I cannot wait to see what you have for the future.

2. I am so thankful for all of the sweet people God has placed in my life (and some of them are you bloggy friends)!! As I walked through those emotional days after my trip I had so many people who were there for me, to listen to my heart. Now I am refreshed and ready to return the blessings!

3. I am thankful for the GORGEOUS weather we have had!! I've taken lots of long prayer walks outside with my dog. And I love being able to drive with the windows down and feel the breeze! :)

4. I am thankful the weekend is almost here! I'm looking forward to some downtime.

5. I am thankful for my wonderful job and coworkers. One of them just got into nursing school yesterday so I made a cake and am going to go buy a balloon and we'll surprise her this afternoon with a "Congratulations" party. :)

6. I look around my house and am just overwhelmed by everything that we have. It's so elaborate compared to the homes I saw last week. My list would be a mile long if I started listing off all of those blessings.

I hope you all are having a wonderful Thursday- we have MUCH to be thankful for.

Love,
Molly

Thankful Thursday

It has been the most AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS day out. 65 degrees. Sunny. A bit windy. So i started my day with a 45-minute walk with the dog, worship music on my iPod, and the Lord. It was awesome. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, just that beautiful blue. The wind reminded me of God's power, yet gentle whispers, as the wind blew across my face. All around me were echoes of God's beauty that I take for granted far too often. I'm thankful for the opportunity I had to bask in the glory of the Lord this morning.

I woke up with a sore throat on Monday and groaned. How could I be getting sick 5 days before Guatemala??!!! I started taking a bunch of cold medicines and getting more sleep than usual. It is now Thursday, the day before we leave, and I have just a small cough and a drippy nose. My sore throat is completely gone- and I've had basically full energy this week, allowing me to pack. I'm praising God for this and trusting that He will restore me completely in the next few days! He is the Great Physician.

Throughout the week I've gotten several emails, facebook messages, and conversations in which so many people have said they have been/are praying for our trip this week. I'm SO THANKFUL for you sweet prayer warriors!! THANK YOU THANK YOU! God gave me a great and precious gift when He gave me all of you!

Thankful Thursday

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.
1 Chronicles 16:34

I am thankful for.............

1. The incredibly relaxed week that i have had. I'm taking it easy on school this week and have been focusing on getting ready for the trip, practicing piano, catching up, reading, and doing lots of spring cleaning! I let myself do a little packing every day lol. In all seriousness though, I have just been so thankful for a low-stress week with lots of rest.

2. My date with dad on Tuesday! :) I have been blessed with an incredibly wise and loving daddy!

3. Time with Noah last night taking him shopping for a new backpack.

4. 8 DAYS till Guatemala!! WOW!!! I'M SO EXCITED!

5. The opportunity that God has given us to go to Guatemala. The past week, God has been teaching me how to pray with great expectancy, eagerly anticipating what is to come and what He will do.

6. I have not gotten this nasty cold/flu everyone has been getting..... i've been drinking 3 glasses of orange juice a day and washing my hands like crazy (and praying I don't get sick until after i get back from our trip).

7. Laughter, smiles, and hugs

8. It's ice cream night tonight lol. For those of you not acquainted with ice cream night, it is one of the most delicious and fun events. Once in awhile, one of us (usually me, since I'm the ice cream addict), will call ice cream night. After homework is done, we'll go out and do the drive-thru at DQ, come back and talk or watch a show together on TV. You should try it sometime lol. :)

9. I am SOOOOOOOOOOO thankful for God's goodness in our friends the Semlows' adoption!! They have been waiting on a signature for 5 1/2 weeks now and had reached the point where they HAD to get the signature in order to adopt these kids. Well... lots of people prayed..... and God worked. They finally got the paperwork they'd been waiting for!! Praise Him!

10. Music. Both playing it and listening. It's amazing to have such an amazing aspect of God's creativity in creation. He is incredible.

What are you thankful for today???? I'd like to hear!! Leave a comment if you'd like! :)

Thankful Thursday

"From the fullness of His grace, we have received one blessing after another."
John 1:16

Is that scripture not true?!! Out of the fullness of His INCREDIBLE grace, we have received MANY MANY blessings! Yes God is sovereign, and no life is certainly not easy. But through it all, God is good, and we need not look further than His word to find incredible blessings.

After I read that verse this morning I immediately thought of the basic provisions He has provided me with that I take for granted: home, food, clothes, car, etc. I thought further and my list expanded to the church, family, and friends. As I began thinking about that I realized just how many times God has used other people to shower His blessings on me. I thought about all of the incredible people He has placed in my life who have taught me, loved me, and encouraged me. He has been so generous in giving me dear friends, mentors, role models, and Godly parents. They are some of God's greatest blessings to me, and through them, I have experienced firsthand some of God's greatest gifts, as they show me grace, love, and mercy. Thank you, dear ones, from the bottom of my heart. So God has given me these people. Who has He given other people? I hope that I have been a blessing to others. I hope that I have not thrown aside opportunities to be a blessing to other people. If I have been shown such grace and love from our great God, my immediate response should be to long to show it to others, be a beacon of light and love for Christ. So, as I go about my day, I pray that my life is a blessing to others. I long to reflect back to others the great blessings that have been shown to me.

"From the fullness of His grace, we have received one blessing after another."
John 1:16

May we rest in the comfort of His grace, the warmth of His love, and the beauty of His mercy. We have been covered in blessings from above. Now let's pass it on and be a blessing to someone else.

Thankful Thursday

What a day!! I'm home, lying on the couch after surgery, and finding many many things to be thankful for.

1. A GOOD surgery!
2. I had the sweetest nurses who were gentle and caring. It was just what I needed.
3. Very tolerable pain. In fact, God has been so good. I haven't had to use the stronger pain meds yet- and i'm praying I won't have to! For now, Tylenol and Aleve have been enough.
4. I felt so loved with a delivery of flowers and balloon from my church family. What a blessing that was. Then, another family from church brought by ice cream and a card. So sweet.
5. And, today, I can justify my thankfulness for ice cream. My parents have promised a milkshake from DQ tonight. yaaay. My diet is pretty limited right now to foods that I can just swallow.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!

Love,
Molly

Thankful Thursday

It's time for another Thankful Thursday!! You might groan but I like thankful Thursdays!! :)

So here we go!

1. I have spent more time on the piano in the past 2 days than I've spent playing this past month. I decided tonight that the best way to describe it is that I've fallen in love with the piano again. I was slowly losing my motivation, but praise God I am not feeling that anymore. I was even practicing some potential songs tonight that I could sing and play for offertory maybe... if I don't chicken out.

2. I'm almost done with my first Spanish college class (yaay!) and i've completed 31% of my Chemistry course. I am counting down the days until that class is over with. That will be the lowpoint of my school year lol!!! I really dislike that subject. But the school year is going by fast and for that I am thankful!!

3. I am too tired to do anymore lol!!!

Thankful Thursday

How appropriate that Thankful Thursday is on Thanksgiving?!! So now you get to hear all about what I'm thankful for on this day of giving thanks to our great God! I'm just going to use this to summarize my thoughts from today as I've pondered all that God has done in my life. The things will probably be redundant as I've blogged about all of them in the past but oh well! This post is for me and my heart as I praise God for all He is! I find that I take for granted these incredible, core parts of my faith and this should not be!!

  1. At our girls bible study we've been reading Romans. Anna and I sit and look at eachother, just trying to fathom how and why He would possibly forgive us and then LOVE us! How amazing is that?!!

"But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. "

Psalm 13:5

Show the wonder of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes. Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings."

Psalm 17:7-8

2. This season of my life has, along with many other lessons, been a time of finding hope. Through scripture and words of encouraging people I've come to realize that as Christians, we are never left without hope. I'm so thankful for that!! It is almost healing to have the promise of hope when one's heart has been left wounded by the disappointments, harshness, and pain of this world. I find comfort and rest in knowing that there is hope for a future, hope for a new day, a second chance. My heart is so much more joyful and my outlook so much more positive since the Lord revealed this great hope to me.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Jeremiah 29:11

3. I am so thankful for the beautiful body of Christ. It has been so amazing as I've gotten older to see firsthand what it means to be apart of this body. Serving and being served. Rejoicing for and with others. Crying on their shoulders and letting them cry on mine. It is just an incredible group of people, pieced together like a jigsaw puzzle, linked by each person's gifts and personalities, and saturated by the love of Christ in all of our hearts.

"Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully."

Romans 12:4-8

4. And, lastly, I'm thankful that when I think about the past year I see so clearly the kisses from heaven and fingerprints of God ALL OVER!! HE has changed me, stripped me of idols, and taught me despite my sin, rebellion, pride, and selfishness. He could just leave me yet He didn't! He chose to teach and guide me that I may look back on my life and give Him glory saying, "My gracious Father, look what You have done!! Great are you Lord and worthy to be praised!!!"

Blessings,

Molly

Thankful Thursday

  1. Joy- I have felt tangible evidence of my prayers for this being answered this past week. I had been praying that the Lord would fill my with joy- joy from Him!! This will sound weird but I've felt like a different person this week. At first I attributed it to the fact that I just got back from a retreat and that I was just riding the high from that. But as the week has gone on, my joy has not diminished. So I began thinking of other reasons of what I had done to make myself so happy. Of course, the answer is NOTHING! Nothing I did has given me more joy. It's all God. Praise you Jesus! The joy of the Lord is present always, it's not a "happiness" dependent on circumstances.
  2. Precious precious precious family and friends. Thank you to each person who loves me SO well. I appreciate and love each of you so much! You bring out the best in me, make me laugh, and make my life so much fuller. I wouldn't be the same without you!!
  3. Awesome youth pastor- Our church has been SOO blessed by incredible pastors. Pastor Dave, my youth pastor, is phenomenal. He is so dedicated to us. I had lunch with him yesterday and realized again just how fortunate I am to be in a church that has such great leadership and to have a youth pastor who cares about us and what's going on in our lives.
  4. This one is random. I turned on the radio in the back file room at work the other day (i don't like being back there by myself without music- it's too quiet lol!). Anyway, I turned it on and Christmas music started playing!!! :) That made me so happy. I love the Christmas season. So I'm thankful that the holidays are quickly approaching. I have my little list of gifts that I need to prepare/buy and I'm getting excited.
  5. 6 more days till Thanksgiving Break!!! Yaay!!!
  6. And... it's time to go to work. So i'm thankful for a job to go to! :) I love it there!

Have a great Thursday! :)

Thankful Thursday

Today I'm thankful for..

1. LIFE! Life is such a gift. It is precious. It's a journey like no other. It's a road of joys and trials.

2. HOPE!!! God just blows me away with the hope that He shows me each and everyday. I think that the fact that He does show hope is only another example of His goodness, kindness, and faithfulness!!!

"We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His holy name. May your unfailing love rest us upon us, O LORD, even as we put our hope in you."

Psalm 33:20-22

3. I am so thankful for each and every person who has "poured" in to my life. You have shown me encouragement and love each in your own unique ways.

4. FALL!!! :) I love fall. Chloe and i went on a long walk this morning and I just marveled at the beautiful trees, leaves, and the crisp, cool air. It was so beautiful. I had my mP3 and i was quietly singing the worship songs as we walked. I'm sure I looked like such a nerd walking with a big smile on my face, mouthing the words, dragging a 90 pound dog with me. Oh well. It's worth it.

5. Parents!! I am SOO thankful for my parents. A big shout-out to my mom and dad. You guys are awesome!!

Have a lovely Thursday!! Take a moment and ponder what you're thankful for today. We've been so blessed.

Thoughtful Thursday

Instead of Thankful Thursday it's going to be Thoughtful Thursday!!

For starters, today was the first day of real school for me! Yaay! To re-cap, it's an accredited, Christian, online school. It's so different than last year's program!! I LOVE it! It's very structured (which I love), very flexible, and I love what I'm learning. It feels so good to be back into a routine and to be learning again. I really want to try my very best this year and put forth 100% effort. I really do feel like this program is a gift from God. However, the ChemLab is probably the most ridiculous program ever. It's too confusing for my little brain!! And if anybody ever wants a good laugh just come over and I'll show you some of my videos. I was sitting by myself laughing while watching them. Oh.... I love this school. It's going to be GREAT! :)

God has kept me on my toes this past month and I finally realized today why He's been teaching me the things He has. It was just a crazy month with the unsureness about school, graduating, college, etc. This whole time He has not only been teaching me to trust but showing me that my life is not my own. I've had my life planned out for forever. I knew exactly what kind of college I wanted, what kind of room mate, what I wanted to do for a living, when I wanted to get married, etc. And I really do think that in my heart I have held onto and desired "my plan" more than God's will. Sure I pray, "If this is in your will, please..." but deep down I'm holding onto my "life plan" with both hands. I just couldn't let it go. Couldn't give it over to God and surrender these dreams.

So He's had to shake things up in my life to get my attention. He longs for me to let go and rest. The reason He doesn't show us our future is so that we have to trust in Him all the more!! But it's painful. By surrendering I'm saying that I can be content in the life that He has for me. I want that life! More than I can say. But I just realized today that there's that part of me that just can't let go. I'm not really sure that any human can completely just sit and let God take the wheel but He's shown me that in my heart i need to clear some of that out. The future I long for is taking my focus off of Him and the beautiful story He's writing. It seems to be an ongoing process. As Christians, we're constantly havingI'm not sure anything I wrote made sense... :) But that's what I've been working through. Giving all of me to Him! So today whenever something didn't go the way I thought they should, or something started to look like our plans might not work I just stopped, took a breath, and prayed, acknowleding that our God is all-powerful and that if this is His will then I will take it and trust Him. Life is a journey. It's not all sunshine and flowers. There's tough stuff. But why live my life focused on anything but Him? Life's hard enough as it is (and really, my issues are minute compared to some!!)!! He's here to hold me, lavishing me with grace and love like no other!! How blessed am I to be a daughter of Him. Praise God.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Jeremiah 29:11 (i know I talk about this verse alot. Sorry. I'm just kinda' obsessed with it right now!! lol!!)

Thankful Thursday

I'm sorry this is so hard to read. It won't let me double space! :P
8 Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name;
make known among the nations what he has done.
9 Sing to him, sing praise to him;
tell of all his wonderful acts.
10 Glory in his holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.
11 Look to the LORD and his strength;
seek his face always.
12 Remember the wonders he has done,
his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,
13 O descendants of Israel his servant,
O sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.
14 He is the LORD our God;
his judgments are in all the earth.
15 He remembers [b] his covenant forever,
the word he commanded, for a thousand generations,
16 the covenant he made with Abraham,
the oath he swore to Isaac.
17 He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree,
to Israel as an everlasting covenant:
18 "To you I will give the land of Canaan
as the portion you will inherit."
19 When they were but few in number,
few indeed, and strangers in it,
20 they [c] wandered from nation to nation,
from one kingdom to another.
21 He allowed no man to oppress them;
for their sake he rebuked kings:
22 "Do not touch my anointed ones;
do my prophets no harm."
23 Sing to the LORD, all the earth;
proclaim his salvation day after day.
24 Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
25 For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;
he is to be feared above all gods.
26 For all the gods of the nations are idols,
but the LORD made the heavens.
27 Splendor and majesty are before him;
strength and joy in his dwelling place.
28 Ascribe to the LORD, O families of nations,
ascribe to the LORD glory and strength,
29 ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name.
Bring an offering and come before him;
worship the LORD in the splendor of his [d] holiness.
30 Tremble before him, all the earth!
The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.
31 Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;
let them say among the nations, "The LORD reigns!"
32 Let the sea resound, and all that is in it;
let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them!
33 Then the trees of the forest will sing,
they will sing for joy before the LORD,
for he comes to judge the earth.
34 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
his love endures forever.
35 Cry out, "Save us, O God our Savior;
gather us and deliver us from the nations,
that we may give thanks to your holy name,
that we may glory in your praise."
36 Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel,
from everlasting to everlasting.
Then all the people said "Amen" and "Praise the LORD."
1 Chronicles 16:8-36
I hope you found this scripture as encouraging as I did!! I started italicizing "important/meaningful" phrases but I soon realized that i was italicizing the ENTIRE passage!!
My thankful Thursday list could be quite long but I've narrowed it down to a few things:
1. Wonderful wisdom from Christians God has placed in my life. My parents and I are really digging into the whole college search adventure! I spent the majority of last night on the computer looking at college websites, comparing tuition, and putting it all into a spreadsheet. So this morning I was feeling a little overwhelmed with the whole thing. I went into work today and had a long conversation with one of my coworkers. I left feeling so much more confident and encouraged in this journey!! So I'm thankful for that opportunity He gave us to chat for awhile.
2. This is kind of broad but I'm just so thankful for the life that I have. I listened to this great radio broadcast from focus on the family today and was reminded of how incredibly blessed I am to have grown up in a Christian home, with two parents (both of whom are loving and dedicated to our family), and I've never been without a roof over my head, clothes, or food. It seems simple, but far too many people are without those basics.
3. Thankful for the love that God gives us. He's so patient and faithful and He is good. He is good in the trials and in the joys!! :)
Blessings,
Molly
